Welcome to FixingBox Services (“FixingBox”, “Platform”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access, use, and interaction with the FixingBox Services mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing, downloading, registering, or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. DEFINITIONS

“User/Customer/Client”: A person who accesses or books services through FixingBox.

“Service Provider/Partner/Professional/Vendor”: Independent contractors, companies, or individuals offering services through the Platform.

“Booking”: A confirmed request made by a User for a service through the Platform.

“Service”: Any task, work, consultation, or assignment performed by a Service Provider booked through the Platform.

“Content”: All information including profiles, reviews, images, texts, listings, pricing, and materials displayed on the Platform.
2. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM
2.1 FixingBox is a technology marketplace platform that connects Users with independent Service Providers for various home, personal, and professional services.
2.2 FixingBox does not employ, manage, or control Service Providers. They operate as independent third-party entities.
2.3 FixingBox is not responsible for the performance, quality, outcome, pricing, or conduct of the Service Providers.
2.4 FixingBox does not provide any services directly to Users unless explicitly stated. All services listed are provided by third-party professionals.
3. USER ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
3.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to use or register on the Platform.
3.2 Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. Fake identities, temporary numbers, or fraudulent accounts may be suspended.
3.3 You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and OTP. Any activity under your account will be considered authorized by you.
3.4 FixingBox reserves the right to verify identity, contact details, KYC, or any documentation if required.
4. SERVICE PROVIDER ELIGIBILITY & CONDUCT
4.1 To list on the Platform, Service Providers must:

Submit valid ID, professional certifications (if applicable), GST details, and bank information

Comply with local laws, licensing, and qualifications

Maintain professional behavior at all times
4.2 Service Providers act as independent contractors and are solely responsible for:

Tools, equipment, and consumables required

Personnel and helpers used
-
Timely completion of the service
4.3 Service Providers shall not engage in:

Illegal, unethical, unsafe, or fraudulent practices

Soliciting Users to bypass the Platform for direct bookings

Abusive conduct, harassment, or misbehavior
4.4 FixingBox may suspend or remove Service Providers for non-compliance, misconduct, poor ratings, or breach of Terms.
5. BOOKINGS, PRICING & PAYMENTS
5.1 Prices listed may vary based on service type, location, complexity, time, availability, and market conditions.
Pricing may be fixed, hourly, or estimated — final pricing may be adjusted based on actual service scope.
5.2 Users agree that:

A Booking is confirmed only after platform acknowledgment

Additional charges may apply if extra work is requested

Government taxes (GST) may apply as per law
5.3 Payments must be made only through the Platform unless otherwise permitted. Accepted modes include UPI, Wallet, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, and platform wallet balance.
5.4 Any cash payments (if allowed) are at your own risk. FixingBox shall not be liable for disagreements or fraud in offline payments.
5.5 Service Provider earnings will be settled as per payout cycle defined in the Partner Agreement.
6. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
6.1 A User may cancel a booking before the scheduled time. Frequent or last-minute cancellations may attract penalties.
6.2 Cancellation charges may apply if:

Professional has already been dispatched

Spare parts/materials have been procured

Service Provider has traveled to the location
6.3 Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after reviewing the case and may take 5–7 business days.
6.4 FixingBox reserves the right to decline refunds in cases of service dissatisfaction where:
7. USER CONDUCT & OBLIGATIONS
Users agree to:

Provide safe, lawful access to premises for service delivery

Treat Service Providers with respect

Not engage in abusive, violent, or discriminatory conduct

Provide correct service conditions (electricity, water, safety, etc.)

Not request illegal or hazardous tasks
FixingBox reserves the right to block Users violating conduct rules.
8. RATINGS & REVIEWS
8.1 Users may submit reviews based on their service experience.
8.2 By submitting reviews, Users grant FixingBox the right to display, use, or moderate them.
8.3 Fake, defamatory, abusive, or misleading reviews may be removed.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Platform Content, trademarks, logos, designs, UI/UX, and proprietary technology belong exclusively to FixingBox.
Users shall not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, distribute, or exploit Platform content without permission.
10. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
Personal data is processed as per our Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you consent to data collection, use, and storage practices.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER
11.1 FixingBox acts only as a facilitator. We are not liable for:

Damages, loss, theft, injury, or accident during service

Misconduct, negligence, or criminal acts committed by Service Providers

Disputes between Users and Service Providers

Delays, cancellations, or unavailability of services
11.2 Users are advised to verify Service Provider identity at the time of service for personal safety.
11.3 FixingBox shall not be responsible for losses arising from offline payments, private arrangements, or third-party dealings outside the Platform.
12. SUSPENSION & TERMINATION
FixingBox may suspend or terminate accounts for:

Fraud, misuse, or policy violations

Abuse of platform or support staff

Illegal or prohibited activities
Upon termination, access to bookings, history, and wallet balance may be restricted.
13. INDEMNITY
Users and Service Providers agree to indemnify and hold FixingBox harmless from claims, damages, legal fees, disputes, or losses arising from:

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
